Sweet Timber Frames specializes in "foundation to finish" timber frames we build in the Acadia and Downeast Maine areas. Our timber frame shop is located in the village of Mount Desert, and we work within a radius of approximately 100 miles.
Sweet Timber Frames was founded in 1981 by John Sweet and encompasses a core group of 6 highly skilled craftsmen dedicated to constructing beautiful, environmentally sustainable timber frames using traditional timber frame building techniques. For larger projects, we scale our resources as needed.
